First day on the raft

So the Savannah500 is in full swing, which means I am now officially stranded out in the middle of the river. For most of the day it was just my dog, Beaudroux, and me. The amenities aren't too bad, my bathroom (4x4 tent with boat toilet and solar shower) is nice enough. My bedroom, a 4 person tent is equipped with a blow up mattress and a dog bed. My kitchen is a easy up tent, cooler, grill and tupperware container, not an award winner, but it will work. :)
The weather was nice today, but I just learned a big storm is coming on Sunday. Sure hope I'm
Out of here by then!
They tell me about 50 people joined today. Not bad for the first day, was hoping for a bit more. I'm amazed at the amount of fisherman along the river walk. It's great to see so many people using the waterways, especially on weekday.
Night has fallen, and I would be lying if I said it was still warm out here. My good friends Lisa and Charles are here hanging out, and we have all pulled out the blankets.

If you haven't joined yet, could you please! They aren't letting me off till 500 people join. You can visit www.savannnahriverkeeper.org/savannah500 to sign up. Talk to ya tomorrow.
