Savannah Riverkeeper and the Savannah Ocean Exchange Event: 9.20.2011

Savannah Riverkeeper and Executive Director Tonya Bonitatibus will discuss the wonders of the Savannah River and how the Savannah Riverkeeper fulfills three main goals: restoring water quality; protecting the lakes and tributaries in and around the Savannah River basin; and educating people living near the river about its ecology and environmental problems.

Tonya's presentation will discuss the inter-connectivity of our fresh water systems and the ocean's health, while highlighting the crucial importance on our esturine marsh systems.

A short National Geographic film on watersheds will be screened as part of this presentation.

We hope to see you there!
